If there was going to be one player that would get Unai Emery out of serious trouble it was going to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabon international converted an 84th minute free-kick to give Arsenal a 3-2 win against a dogged Aston Villa side.
Auba did miss a few chances it has to be said but when he was needed he stepped up, as he usually does. This was his sixth goal of the season and he keeps on being a one man rescue service for the beleaguered Emery.
It was a well-taken free-kick precisely planted into the right-hand corner of the net and capped off a good second-half comeback.
WOW! @Arsenal are not good for your health but what a comeback! #AFC #Aubameyang pic.twitter.com/vfidrW5Jod

He is bloody brilliant… where would we be without him?! ⬇️
Bottom of the table and proudly doing weekend giveaways
Haven’t commented on here for a while but damn this got me cracking as fk ?????
With regards to next week’s game, “El Sackico”, ?? as someone already dubbed it, would u guys rather we lose, and sack Emery, or win and keep him.
As much as I would love for Emery to get the boot, I abhor losing to manure. I would like us to beat, or even humiliate them next week….. and if Emery gets fired right after the game, that would be icing on the cake.
I detest United, so losing to them is not an option
What I HOPE is that Emery starts becoming a real manager and we win. But that is unlikely.
at least, now we have to see Bellering in action next week
Relax B-Rabbit, slow down. Bellerin against United already? You wanna send him back to the treatment room?
probably gunna have to wait longer. He’s only done 60 minutes. Holding did 3-4 youth matches and he didn’t make bench this weekend. (probably will see him midweek though). I’d say we have another half month at least before our fullbacks are good to go again.
This for Agu Emen who according to him the fault is Wenger’s and Sven’s 30Million Sokratis?
The same Sven that pushed for us to get Abdou Diallo but the club refused because he Emery came straight away and said he wanted experienced defenders. You guys won’t always say the truth, you’ll say stuffs halfway and try to make Emery look like a bloody genius. The same Diallo that the club refused to get because your wanted experienced defenders, that same Diallo was bought by Dortmund to replace the wrestler, a year later, PSG splashed the cash and bough him from Dortmund. Not to mention adding Litchsteiner’s experience to the defense, all massive failures.
No I won’t stop there yet,
As delusional as you and the coach are,was and is obsessed with getting his Ex players, the same man wanted an old age Nzonzi and Ever Banega as our midfielders. I wonder where we’ll be right now with both players finding it hard to run down the pitch.
Oh don’t forget signing David Luiz, you think it’s a coincidence we went for David Luiz instead of getting another option?
He’s been doing a very poor job as a coach but no, don’t blame him, keep blaming Wenger who left and is yet to even step foot into a stadium to watch our game alongside Sven who’s not even here
Wenger is not blameless for Arsenals failures/mess.
There could be a legal case against Arsenal for giving supporters heart attacks. Our defence is illegal and dangerous, and is causing so much illness amongst supporters that the attendance is going down by a large percentage hospitalised during and just after matches. AMN, David Luiz, The Wrestler, and Kolasinac please think of your supporters health when playing.
West Ham put two goals past Maguire!!!
Auba had a poor game but with that strike he may have just about saved Emery’s job. Sad reality.
Auba is just too good, the guy will always put ball at the back of the net, even in his worst performance. What a classic goal from a classy player, the greatest goal poacher.
