Video – Eintracht Frankfurt 0-3 Arsenal full highlights

Arsenal kicked off their Europa League campaign with a decent 3-0 win at Eintracht Frankfurt in an exciting game that had everything, including a red card.

Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka was particularly impressive scoring one and setting up two but the scoreline was a little flattering for the Gunners who had to rely on their goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to pull off a string of good saves to deny the Bundesliga outfit.

          1. Only just got back, downloaded Wolves app ready… no, not seen it.. saw the score & Tierney & Bellerin played 63 minutes. Has it been any good? That Balogun scores a lot!!

          2. Didn’t see it Sue I heard some Celtic fan say your gonna miss winning trophies! Delusional a bloody Mickey mouse league and cups.. yeah you’ll be lay in bed at night thinking about your cup finals against Partick Thistle and Alloa ???

          3. Tierney was booked!! That was 8 months, Hector was out for ?
Poor little Celtic fans.. they’ll have to be quiet & go back to supporting Scott Sinclair ???

    1. He’s a very good youngster and I hope one day our front four or three could be made up of our academy players.
One player who I’m still waiting to prove his ability is Pepe who I believe will come good but unfortunately isn’t an €80m at all.
He is of similar quality to Zaha but was chosen because of age. Neither was worth €80m.

  1. I bet the highlights doesn’t show Emery finally ditched his playing from the back.
It’s so simple when GK just kick the ball. However it’s not like his previous approach doesn’t have merit, we just don’t have the right personnel.

  2. Saka, Pepe, Aubameyang, Ceballos, Wilock, Torreira should start

    Not sure about defence
I don’t think Holding is ready yet

I hope we see this defence next month:

    Bellerin..Holding..Luiz..Tierney

    Or

    ….Chambers..Luiz..Holding
    Bellerin…………….Tierney

  3. Apparently Emery now sees Torriera’s role as a box to box mid rather than a DM.
Although Xhaka didn’t have a bad game he is not a DM.

    1. xhaka has never adequately protected the backline. Even yesterday that was not the best part of his game. Torreira hasn’t been played as a traditional DM for quite a bit. Emery keeps playing him more advanced than Xhaka, and it doesn’t look like a natural role to him. The reason we all got excited for Torreira was his world cup performances when he was a no BS defensive mid. And his first few months at Arsenal that was his role. Now, I don’t know what Emery is trying to do. But it’s not to the benefit of the team. I think Emery thinks he is more clever than he actually is.

      1. Torreira was still average in some of his performances at DM though.
Only a matter of time before another DM comes in

    2. Declan I read that, the man is totally clueless I swear. Always tweaking everything he lays his hands on. It’s frustrating! Playing Torreira up front and Xhaka as DM and yet people still think the problem is with Torreira.

  4. Hahaha ????

We beat Napoli people where not convinced about our play same Napoli that beat psg and Liverpool

We beat valencia people said it’s just valencia that they are not good the same valencia beat chelsea at bridge

We beat frankfurt with many young stars yet it’s same old boring performance and nothing special we scored 3 against a frankfurt team that we should be beating 8 let’s wait the same rubbish frankfurt will better many good teams at home this season

    1. Its the 24 shots they had on us that bothers me another day we couldve lost 4-3 the defensive tactics is whats wrong since wenger and its the same still hopefully when all are fit we can cut those chances down.

    2. Funny thing is after all those victories the team has still not improved and it’s clear for all to see.
Weve had mamy wins that papers over cracks that are always exposed later on.
I’m not putting up with these rubbish performances regardless if we win or not. As a top team this isn’t our standard
