Video Extra: David Ospina gives ex-Arsenal striker free goal!

The annoying international break began in earnest last night with many Arsenal stars in action, and over in Paris David Ospina was keeping goal for Columbia against France.

But after just ten minutes Ospina somehow failed to keep hold of an easy cross that he allowed to jump out of his arms. The ex-gunner Olivier Giroud was the only Frenchman in the box but he was the first player to pounce and slot it easily into the net.

Thomas Lemar then gave the French a two goal advantage, but Ospina’s blushes were saved as Luis Muriel, Radamel Falcao and Juan Quintero helped the Colombians to make a thrilling comeback to win the game 3-2…..

  1. I think Arsenal should sell the erratic players (that often produced rollercoaster performances) like Koscielny, Ozil, Ospina and Cech, let Martinez and Macey compete

    1. How can you even compare them….. Not saying our youngster sure are talented, but proved and showed nothing yet to be there.

    1. It’s called Wenger maths

  2. Ospina just showed what a clown he really is.We need anew No1 and bring back Martinez as No2.Matt Macey as Back up to these and we are sorted.
Also why is Giroud a more prolific scorer for France than he was when playing for us?Easy. He gets balls played into the box.Still pleased we got rid of him though

    1. Yes Phil I’ve been banging on about the lack of crosses and cut backs into the box for ages, it bloody annoys the hell out of me. I’m sure they get fined or something for crossing as well as shooting from outside the box.

  3. Just wondering if Corporate Man, Godswill and abs were watching the video after berating me last month for criticising your man and clown “OSPINA”,

    1. Are you talking about me? I never berated you on Ospina. Am never his fan of recent. Neither am that of Cech. When you have goalkeepers who made you jittery anytime the ball goes towards your 18 then you can’t be proud of them.
Get me another GK please and send Ospina to Turkey.
