Video – Joe Willock puts Arsenal one up against Eintracht Frankfurt

Arsenal took a deserved one-goal lead through a deflected Joe Willock shot on the 38th minute against Eintracht Frankfurt.

It started with a nice little dink from Saed Kolasinac to Saka who breezed by one Frankfurt player before he fed it to Willock who still had some work to do. He turned inside one defender then blasted it and with a wicked deflection off Frankfurt captain David Abraham it flew over the keepers head to give the Gunners a one-goal lead.

  1. Thank God, Jehova Allah, Zeus
We finally won an away match and by hopefully 3 goals or more.

Now we need to win on Sunday

Well done especially to young guys Saka, Wilock and Smith Rowe. Also our defensive line which looked really bad on paper but came up with the goods tonight

    Good job boys
    Keep it up

  2. Btw

We all were disturbed and shocked by the trio of Mustafi, Luiz and Xhaka. But they performed well today. Very surprised tbh

Also Aubameyang needs a good rub down and spa treatment for Sunday. Great job tonight by all

  3. Saka is a star… 2 assists 1 mad goal. Emery has arsenal playing with a conservative mindset. We need to be aggressive

  4. nice to see an arsenal clean sheet as well as witness arsenal young guns show up and prove their quality – winning breads confidence, let’s keep going arsenal.

  5. Brilliant performance boys, well done!!!

Martinez was the complete keeper and certainly gives Leno a reminder that his position shouldn’t be taken for granted.

Kolasinac was excellent, as was Chambers, after a very tentative start – to be expected after not playing since the opening game.

Xhaka was so much better with Torreria beside him and wilock, smith-rowe and saka deserve every plaudit they get.

Congrats UE, you got it right tonight, made me happy and we go into Sundays game buzzing… BRILLIANT
