Video – Leicester v Arsenal Highlights as James Maddison finishes Arsenal off

Well I guess we all knew that it would come to this as the Leicester Man-of-the-Match James Maddison finishes Arsenal off and confirms that we have now gone 4 games in a row without a win in the League.

Not only are we going to end up 9 points below Leicester and Chelsea, we have also been leapfrogged by Sheffield United and have dropped down to sixth in the table. So maybe not everyone will want to relive the game but here are the highlights anyway.

It is going to be a very uncomfortable international break for Unai Emery, especially as his first 50 games have ended with a worse record than Wenger’s last 50…

  1. Tbull says:

    Is Emery still Arsenal manager???

  2. avenger says:

We’ve gone like this for too long, it’s time for a change

This game showed the world, we’re well out of range

  3. Bryan says:

I spared myself of the mental torture by not watching the game cos I already knew the result.

    Woeful Arsenal
    Emery out.

I can’t believe we as fans is letting our club sink to this new low.

  4. Sue says:

Well I don’t wanna see that again 🙄

  5. gurrosco says:

“Good luck in your future Emery.”

As I much as I would like to say that, I don’t see it happening.

I personally don’t think the board watches Arsenal play. They would simply look at results.

And as it stands (from board POV), top 4 is still realistic, we have a chance at Europe.

Until EL and Top 4 appear hopeless, Emery will hold onto his job.

    Long year ahead fellow gunners.

    1. NY_Gunner says:

Finally, someone else who gets it… 👍🏿

    2. Clueless Emery says:

      You are absolutely on point

    3. MadHatter says:

Raul and Edu were both sat in the stands today so they are watching us play and seeing first hand what is on Emery and what is on the players.

Sacking the manager mid season is not without its own problems so even if Emery is sent packing things still might not be an easy ride 🤷‍♂️

  6. Sean Williams says:

We are a sad mess. Emery just cannot do it. He has to leave before things get WORSE. They will.

  7. ArseOverTit says:

Arsenal is a cash cow for kroenke and he is a passive observer who doesn’t really care as long as the tills roll.

Emery to stay for rest of contract. It’s the Arsenal way.

Leicester had a better ‘TEAM’ and you could say a better manager.

Still, exit through the gift shop!

  8. Restless says:

I have been supporting Arsenal for over 20 years and I am familiar with how they play. I do not know this Arsenal under Emery.

  9. Counsel says:

Arsenal needs radical surgery, this the only treatment no pain no change. How low should we go down for emery to be sacked. Not everyone is Arsene Wenger this tradition that Arsenal can’t sack a manager without giving him time is the reason we are not taken seriously as a club.Big clubs sack managers in a heart beat because the stakes are high no time for experiment. That’s the winning mentality.Anyone who expected a win today is deluded beyond help

  10. Lucia says:

I’m going to be brutally honest with y’all. Aubameyang without his goals brings nothing to this team. Quote me anywhere. If you saw today’s game you will see that it is typical of Aubameyang no bite whatsoever.
A lot have been crying for torreira but today shows a player who is miles out of form the less I say about guendozi the better.he needs to take a breather otherwise he runs the risk of accumulating fatigue. Between last season as this season I think he and sokratis has played the most games alongside xhaka and he is 20, he needs to sit some games out to recuperate.
If I was to take any positive out of today’s game it would be ozil, bellerin, luiz, and Leno.
I thought ozil tried but lacazette and Aubameyang kept on loosing the balls, played wrong passes. And bellerin played well still lacking sharpness but hopefully he will get there. Kolasinac shouldn’t be playing for this team and what in the world has happened to holding? He shouldn’t be ahead of mustafi by his recent performances. And lastly, pepe will not cut it in the premier league if he continues on this path. The guy is soooo average at best.
I’m not even upset as I wasn’t expecting us to win.
