Video: Nicolas Pepe scores stunning curler for Arsenal vs West Ham

In the 65th minute of this evening’s clash between Arsenal and West Ham, skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang played the ball into Nicolas Pepe with a pinpoint pass.

Our marquee signing showed off his silky footwork to effortlessly glide past Arthur Masuaku before curling the ball into the back of the net with a sensational finish.

Pepe’s first goal from open play for the Gunners came just minutes after Gabriel Martinelli’s equaliser.

Take a look at the Ivorian’s stunning effort below:

Hopefully caretaker boss Freddie Ljungberg or our next permanent boss can inspire more moments like this from the forward.

  1. Yes i will take the 3 points and the 3 goals but honestly it’s only papering over the very wide cracks. We are still no use, we beat a bottom half team.

    1. I agree… WestHam looks for a long time now like a fake club… since Slav had that great first season. Lots of money less football mojo.

      1. So you would prefer we loose to the hammers. We can only play our opponents one game at a time and yes we all know how bad we are currently doing. But we won last night so instead of moaning and telling us the obvious give some constructive input until the next game.

  2. Good win.
Still no where near good enough against better teams.
Xhaka’s wayward passing through the middle would have easily costed 2 goals against top 6

  3. Eh!! What happened? I gave up following at 1.0 and put a film on just checked in and a win!
Right top 4 here we come 🙂
No seriously what the hell happened did there brains get erased at half time?

    1. Nice from you as a fan…
comeback and finish that movie… what was it? something stupid?

      ps
we are faaar from top 4.

  4. I think Laza lost his place in the starting 11.
Freddie should continue with Martinelli as no. 9.
but Sokratis and Xhaka must go out of the team… they are littlebit ku-ku.

  5. Please dont moan though that’s the problem with is arsenal fans always waiting for or expecting doom, (as it normally comes at some point) before it happens.
Is it too much to ask to get the fans and Emirates rocking now, the noise and support is needed by the players. Although the fair reaction booing put players when rubbish isn’t ever going to help bring them back from their bad place. Let’s enjoy tonight sometimes a win can be all that’s needed to at least start a change.

    1. That is extremely a lot to ask from Arsenal fans these days. West Ham just beat Chelsea last week but somehow when we beat them they’re a small team. Arsenal fans never appreciate their team no matter what they do. Very sad.
