Bukayo Saka makes a name for himself against Standard Liege
Arsenal looked dead and buried at 2-0 down in Liege last night, even though both the hosts goals had come from lucky deflections. It looked like we were set for another depressing evening until suddenly Bukayo Saka came to the show and decided it was time for him to change our fortunes against the Belgian side.
He started off with an excellent cross to Alexandre Lacazette to give us the lead, and he then followed it up with a goal for himself to cap off a brilliant evening for the youngster…
You can watch Bukayo Saka’s here thanks to BTSport…
He’s made one, and now he’s scored one! 🔥
Bukayo Saka with a lovely one-two before placing it into the bottom corner 👌
Lovely finish from the youngster… pic.twitter.com/vVoXpQdPnN

It was great to see Bukayo Saka prove that he is a definite star of the future for the Gunners!
As what I said before, Saka has the potential to become an LB if he fails as a winger
Bellerin was also a winger before Bould turned him into an RB. Unfortunately the injuries and the complacency have ruined him
@gotanidea
Don’t forget the modeling jobs…
yap
The kid is a prodigious talent and
should continue to feature regularly
in the Europa League as well
occasional EPL run outs. I fancy him,
ESR and GM as future stars of the
Arsenal first team.
Somewhat OT but I personally feel
that this weekends clash against Oil
City might just be FL’s last match
in charge on the Emirates sidelines.
I cant wrap my head around anything
but an embarrasing loss @ the hands
of the Champions and such
transparency might force the Arsenal
Brass to accelerate the process of
appointing a permanent manager. It
isnt Feeddys fault, Arsenal with the
exception of a couple of exceptional
players is littered with mid table
talent thats isnt of the collective
quality needed to return the club
to the ranks of the top four and CL
futbol. I wasnt a fan of Emery, but
at least he understood the squad
defencies and if it is indeed true
that the board refused his summer
recruitment plans of Maguire
(overpriced but better than any CB
AFC have had for YEARS), Zaha and
Thomas Partey than the club hierarchy
is more cluless and complicit than
the Spaniard EVER was at the
Emirates.
if saka could continue with the massive improvement then he will be ahuge asset to the gunners
He should be loaned to somewhere in Europe to play week-in, week-out for a year until his strength develops. He still struggles against Premier League defenders, but most of it is due to his still young physique.
A good one for the long run, but perhaps a year out of England, say Germany, would do him further good.
Absolute garbage to suggest a talent like Saka should be loaned out.Due to the injury to Tierney he will be playing left back or left wing back for he rest of the season.
Sorry, I meant loaned next year – for max. 1 year.
Defensively Premier league attackers will just brush him aside until he gets stronger.
Offensively this has already been proved.
A top talent, but there’s a reason why at the moment he only excels against physically less dominant opposition.
Both of these have happened again and again, so there’s no doubt his Premier-League-regular-starter status is likely a year or slightly more away due to strength issues. And for an 18 year old winger it’s vital he plays 90 minutes as regularly as possible.
Also, if you think Saka would play better in the PL than Kolasinac, you know shit and will be proven wrong.
