Video – Watch David Luiz score Arsenal’s second goal in just two minutes

.

David Luiz scores Arsenal’s second goal within just two minutes.

Well, that escalated quickly. Unai Emery’s men raced into a two-goal lead thanks to their central defenders.

Sokratis scored the first Arsenal goal but whatever he can do his defensive partner Luiz can match.

Both defenders positions within the senior team have been under scrutiny and they have both answered their critics strongly.

This was the Brazilian’s second goal of the season and it could not have come at a better time.

Enjoy the video, I certainly have.

Unai Emery should be arrested for punishing arsenal fans, how can you put this guy called Tieney on the bench and kept playing Kolasinat. well remain Xhaka to be dropped

  2. Goaldan says:

    We can’t control midfield we
Need athleticism, height , strength no one seems
To dictate our game from the middle…
I think we will win, because our forwards haven’t
    Got going yet 🤞

  3. Pat says:

    This is not good 2-2

  4. rkw says:

  5. Bur says:

  8. rkw says:

they have one every 50 50 ball … shocking

      It’s Time!

  9. Eddie Hoyte says:

I can’t wait to watch 442oons making use of Arsene Wenger to sing the popular “Sacked in the morning, you getting sacked in the morning ”😂😂

  10. Gogo says:

    Sack him now…

  11. Kenyanfan says:

Lol. No matter who we play, Emery doesn’t add any motivation to these players. The board should just act before we end down the AC Milan way and that is very eminent. the worst thing is that once you down esp in EPL, getting back is never easy. It will take half a decade just as it took Liverpool. We really need to let go Emery. It’s clear that we are regressing each and every day.
We can’t dominate teams at home and for this case mid table teams. We can’t attack, we can’t defend. What do we stand for?

  12. jon fox says:

Good to see that Xhaka is at last getting the message first hand that almost all Gooners can’t stand him. Good riddance Lurch!

    1. Gogo says:

      I’ve missed you Jon fox.

    2. Ronche says:

      Me too

    3. RSH says:

jon, we were just as bad when he was off the pitch. I agree he shouldn’t get starts but Xhaka is the scapegoat this time around for our frustrations when the problem is Unai Emery. Has GOT to go. If he starts Torreira and Ozil we still (likely) play bad, we will then go back to chastising our CB’s. It’s always somebody it seems. The message from the fans should simply be aimed at the manager who is out of his depth here.

      1. Marion says:

        RSH totally agree with you

  13. Kenyanfan says:

The way Emery substitutes Xhaka it’s clear that he knows he is no good to even start a game in the first place but keeps playing him. Am really tired.Emery is giving me headache

  14. avenger says:

When will be the day that i will praise Arsenal for winning with passion heart and intelligent play any time soon?

  15. rkw says:

i have never in my watching of football seen a team loose so many 50 50 balls … shocking stuff no vision no determination and very little skill … sad demise of a once great club … emery has to go after 1 point from sheff utd and palace

  16. Lawrence Kunaka says:

Emery must go. You can’t fight with Ozil when you don’t have creativity in that team. He is clueless.

  17. AY75 says:

Well I thought we’ll edge it, but at least we can take a positive from this game…. say it in whispers, so you don’t jinx it; Emery’s a step away from the exit door.

  18. Wes says:

No matter what anyone says Wenger always tried to entertain us with good football but this era of Emery isn’t taking us anywhere

Thank God I avoided watching that game which I know would have depressed me

  19. aeontisty says:

I’m going to say this loud and clear, the way you lot here and those going to the saduim treat Xhaka is despicable and gullible at the same.
I sat down today wondering what he did today to deserve what he got today, as usual the dumb Jon Fox had to run and type rubbish on here just to satisfy his rubbish ego. We all are “humans” and we should remember this players are first of all “humans” too, today’s booing so got to Xhaka that he had to leave the pitch entirely. Which leads me to ask what the hell is going on? Can’t we support our players must a player be always singled out to be ridiculed?
Xhaka wasn’t great today so was everyone on the pitch but why should he be singled out all the time? It was annoying seeing him so angry today, I just wish those despicable fans get that kind of treatment at their work place or at home so they will understand how he felt.
We should do better as fans, gingering our players should be the focus not ridiculing them for absolutely no reason.

    1. Gogo says:

@aeontisty I need you to answer this couple of questions for me pls:
(1). Was Xhaka right for strolling when we need a goal?
(2). Are the fans the ones being paid heavily week in week out?
(3). If Xhaka can’t handle these why is he captain?

      1. Aeontisty says:

@Gogo I will answer your questions

1.) When has any player been happy when being substituted? Even Ayew the Palace 2nd goal scorer was visibly annoyed on seeing his number up. No player who knows his worth will be happy when substituted and also knowing he clearly wasn’t playing bad(he got an assist today didn’t he?)

2.) Players are paid because football is the profession they choose to take, if you feel you can do better than them leave what you are doing and be a professional player.

3.) Like I have said and will always say this players are first ‘humans’ before anything else, Xhaka has got death threat from Arsenal fans, Arsenal fans attacked Xhaka while he was driving out with his wife. There are so many things Arsenal fans have done to this man and for what reason, for being an Arsenal player? Come on man these things are bound to get to him, being a clubs captain doesn’t take away that.
I do hope I answered your questions

  20. Olaitan Kayode says:

@ AEONTISTY. U CALLING JON NAMES IS SENSLESS. XHAKA WAS BOOED BECAUSE OF THE MANNER IS WAS LEAVING THE PITCH. AS A CAPTAIN, HE SUD HV RAN OUT OF THE PITCH. THE FANS BOED BECAUSE HE WAS PRACTICALLY WALKING. FANS BOOED AND CRITICIZED OZIL FOR THE SAME THING LAST SEASON.

PLEASE YOU CANT BE SHIT AT UR PLACE OF WORK EVERY DAY AND NOT GET BOOED. HE IS FAR WORST A PROBLEM TO THE TEAM THAN MUSTAFI HAS EVER BEEN.

EMERY IS THE MUST CLUELESS COACH I HAVE EVEN SEEN. NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY BARCA OVER TURNED A 4 ZERO DEFICIT.

I WILL TAKE SAM ALLARDYCE OVER EMERY NOW

    1. Aeontisty says:

@olatain my calling Jon names might seem senseless but to me it’s worth it, you can’t be as old as he says he is an yet be devoid of human feelings, as young as I might be I take it upon self to be understanding,
You and I know Xhaka wasn’t booed because he was supposedly strolling, let’s agree it was the case what about last week? Was he not booed? Arsenal fans always want someone to blame now it is Xhaka, there is no Mustafi, Ozil nor Iwobi so Xhaka takes it all. For crying out loud he is the club’s captain he should be respected at home by his own fans.

  21. Rednit says:

Xhaka has never been up to speed for the premier league . He stepped up to high a level .
Emery was a good coach at. Seville . Thats his homeland , his language . At psg he couldnt handle Neymar , at Arsenal he cant handle Ozil .
Emery needs to go back to Spain , there he can communicate .
Ozil needs to be given a free transfer , save Arsenal his wages and get some young , enthusiastic energy into the team .
Ozil is a disgrace . Nobody wants to sign him , proof enough .
