Eddie Nketiah sends a message to Leeds United manager after England heroics

Eddie Nketiah, currently on loan at Leeds, scored a memorable hat-trick for the England U21 against Austria last night. In doing so he sent a clear message to Marcelo Bielsa, who is not selecting him as a starter for Leeds

For some reason, Bielsa is lacking faith in the 20-year-old despite his goal-scoring antics for both club and country.

The situation is such that Arsenal is considering cutting Nketiah’s loan to Leeds short. Bristol City are waiting in the wings in the event that the young forward returns to the Emirates in January.

Anyway, watch the official highlights from BT Sport via their Youtube channel and enjoy.

  1. Man United is close to signing Allegri according to mirror newspapers. We are going to be on our own soon. For everyone who think we are doing well.

    1. Pat I don’t know where you read that because I read that spurs are readying themselves for man utd to make their move on poch who has a 32 or 36M buy out clause and are sounding out mourhino!so I don’t know what to believe!!

      1. Excuse me????? Who the hell are you? Do I know you? Please mind your lane!!!! You here me????? I didn’t direct my comment to you and I didn’t expect any rubbish response from you!!!!

    2. I wanted Allegri before Kroenke signed Emery. I still want him

Fact is Kroenke is not interested in signing a Top manager. Kroenke wants control

So best you dont cry about being 3Rd place. I know it’s terrible and you wish we were 1st after 1.3 years of being 6th.

      Seriously we are improving slowly

  2. i agree we’re not doing well, but signing high profile manager doesn’t quarentee margue performance or major trophy, anceloti, mourinho, henrique n conte all have proven record but pep became most succesfull manager ever at club level only from barca B.. We’ve to take risk with freddie, i thnk he’ll do better than emery, even cohen bramal has said freddie is better tha emery

  3. Well done Eddie! Hopefully a new club in January if the situation continues at Leeds. He needs to be starting more often.

I am so excited with our crop of youngsters coming through. I am not sure if Nelson will make it, although he does have the potential, and maybe Smith-Rowe will be too injury prone, but Guendouzi, Saka, Willock, and Nketiah are looking very promising. Chambers, Holding, Bellerin, and Tierney are all early/mid twenties as well, which is also good for our future.

  4. So far in the Premier League and Europa League this season, Arsenal have done well in the 2 competitions after a staggering start in their PL campaign that culminated in seeing them played to 3 draw games in the PL dropping unpardonable 6 points during the process. But the Gunners are looking to have overcome their draw game habits in the PL when they claimed a 1-0 home win over the hard fighting Bournemouth team last week. And I believe they’ll carry over this winning mentality to Sheffield Utd on Monday night next week when playing against the Blades and they will collect all the blades in their hands to cut them down in the game to claim a win in the match without having to use their guns to shoot at them.

While in the Europa League, Arsenal have won all the 2 matches that they’ve played since the competition begun this season beating Eintracht Frankfurt 0-3 and Standard Liege 4-0.

Now, tell us who is saying Arsenal have not done well in their campaigns this season?

  5. Well done Eddie, look forward to seeing you in an Arsenal shirt and running on in the starting lineup!

  6. OT.. Being reported that we played a ‘behind closed doors’ friendly against Reading. Bellerin, Tierney, Holding & wait for it… Ozil all featured. Laca wasn’t risked.. it finished 2-2.. but I’ve no idea who scored!
    Looking good for Monday, surely!!

  7. Eddie needs to be starting more games. That was why he was sent on loan. If Leeds don’t want to sharpen our player for us, no problem. Let’s send him some place else in January.

I think they signed their main man Bamford from us, if I remember correctly.
