I’ve said all along that Real Madrid won’t allow to stay unless he signs a new contract. They are not going to miss out on over £100m.

If Vinicius wants to let his contract run down, there wouldn’t be a thing Real could do about it.
Yes they could make his life difficult regards making him train elsewhere at the club as happens.
But if he was prepared to deal with such tactics, he could quite easily let his contract run down.

Fair enough Derek. If that were to happen I would imagine Mourinho won’t select him to start the games.
Real Madrid won’t want to lose the player for free, but they won’t let him leave without a fight to keep him.
So, I’m sure they will give him what he wants and get him to sign a new contract
Much as I would love to have him at Arsenal, I doubt that would be. I hope I’m wrong though.
It’s a bit more of a tricky situation for Madrid that just dealing with Vini’s contract in isolation. They started getting themselves in trouble with conceding to Mbappe’s requests when they signed him. Vini is now asking for the same deal.
So if they concede to Vini’s contract requests, then what’s to stop Bellingham also asking for 80% of his image rights? And so on with every key player.
It breaks their financial model if they concede their negotiating position on image rights to player agents and can’t recoup/cover top salaries from them.
