Why I believe Arsenal will beat Man City and reach the Cup Final!

Man City should be scared of Arsenal this time around! By SK

The draws for the FA cup semi-final is out and it is no news that we have been paired against Man City. Once again, we are playing another big team in a major competition. How are we going to fare this time around? Are we going to get whopped again? Will Man City feel our stings this time around? What exactly should we expect?

Early this season, we played the citizens, although we started the game well as Theo Walcott scored a beautiful goal, we ended up losing the game due to defensive errors. The game was a game of two different halves; we played well in the first half but played badly in the second half. Our stars failed to shine that day and we paid dearly for it. But that is in the past.

We are playing them again in the league and in the FA cup and we are going to show them we are a different Arsenal team now. They will be surprised by what will hit them! Why am I so sure? Well, ride along with me as I put you in the mood for an emphatic victory over the Citizens.

By the time we will be playing Man City, we would have gotten our confidence back; we would have started winning games upon games. The season would have been coming to an end and we all know how we play towards the end of every season. When Wenger’s top four finish is threatened, he suddenly turns Arsenal into a winning machine; he will win games that we would have lost if we had played them earlier. We all know how much he cherishes the top four! I can bet money on us finishing in the top four at the end of the season. Based on these premises that we will be on fire towards the end of the season, I believe we will beat the Citizens silly in the FA cup semi-final. They will regret meeting us at that point of the season as we will show them no mercy. I predict us winning that game by three goals to one! Sanchez will score in the game, Giroud will score and Walcott will continue in his scoring form. Come on Gooners, you know I told you we could still end the season on a high? Well, my prediction will still come to pass, or do you doubt me?

He likes playing against pigeons ?

    2. Fatboy Gooney says:

          1. Robin Vanpayslip says:

About as real as Wengers teeth.

  2. Arsenal_Girl says:

    I hope we win it
To me the FA Cup is a major trophy
I’ve loved it since I was a child

BUT winning the FA Cup still means Wenger Out. it will just mean Wenger goes out with a trophy
It won’t change anything for me. Wenger has outstayed his welcome
    We need a new manager
    Wenger Out

  3. Fatboy Gooney says:

Us Beating City in the semifinals? ?? nah mate, you best get the Vaseline out for that game, we still have afew more dry humpings to deal with before the seasons over.??

  4. bran99 says:

    in our (wet) dreams

  5. Jansen says:

Wenger has brainwashed you successfully if you believe 4th place is in the bag. It will mean most fans will accept his contract renewal announcement in two weeks time because by then the reality will not have dawned yet. The reality being that this season we will not finish in the top 4.

  6. legend Henry says:

Why do people go on saying “4th place crap”
If we lose a premier league match, wenger blames it on the champions league.
If we lose champions league match , Wenger blames it on the premier league.
When Leicester won the trophy last season, eenger said they won it because they did not play in many competitions and once they do that they will find it difficult if not impossible to win the league.
I bet you with the Emirate that Wenger will say Chelsea won the league because they were not involved in any competition.
That Arsene guy is a failure to the core.
My point is if Wenger blames our lack of trophies partly on the champions league, why do people need us to qualify. Why don’t we concentrate fully on the league? It’s not like we even go there to make some impressions but we get humiliated and can’t seem to pass the round 16 no matter who we face.
The fans mentality is just like Wenger’s.
    Wenger should go away.
To the fans who are making your frustrations known to the board , more power to your elbow !!!!
    Wenger out!!!!

    1. Break-on-through says:

AFC got 56m from CL last season. I read yesterday that our players bonuses are still tied in with reaching the CL. Chelsea give their bonuses for the medals won I read, could us fighting tooth and claw trying not to drop past fourth be related I wonder. It made sense when CL money was vital. The bar should’ve been raised higher, our finances did but they left it at that.

CL money alone almost covered our transfer expense, when you consider installments well then it actually did. This doesn’t sound ambitious at all.

  7. mark says:

Excellent point, it’s always someone else’s fault and never Wengers…

  8. verstellung says:

Uh,we were not focused…uh, perhaps we lacked competition in the first half. We were not mentally ready for the match. The referee did not do us any favor, uh…. Maybe we should have been more clinical, we did not finish our chances…uh…
