Will Arsenal be 3rd big Premier League club mauled by tigers?

It is not quite time for Arsenal to be concerned about the threat posed to us in Premier League games by those clubs fighting for survival, although our next opponents Hull City are currently in the drop zone. That time when all of the bottom clubs are more dangerous than those in mid table is not quite on us yet, but I am still worried about our game this weekend.

The tigers have already mauled two EPL giants in recent weeks and we need to make sure that Arsenal do not join that list, but it will not be easy with Hull on the rise and full of belief and the Gunners in a slump after a couple of defeats ended our dreams of the title.

If Hull carry on the way they are going they will not be involved in that relegation battle, because under their new manager Marco Silva things are really looking up. They may have just failed to get to the EFL cup final at Wembley but they did beat Man United in the second leg to miss out by just a single goal.

They also held Mourinho’s team to a draw in the league and were unlucky not to win it after Markovic crashed a shot off the post late on. They did beat Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool last week and will be fairly confident of taking points off us this weekend as well.

So despite the respective league positions I think this is a big test for Arsenal to avoid being Hull’s third big Premier League scalp in a month.
