Will Arsenal fans really protest tomorrow? I hope so…..

Unless we the Arsenal fans make a claim, nothing will change. Konstantin Mitov

Hello people and I know I’m repeating myself, but theres only one topic that has any point to talk about and that is who will come out and take responsibility for the bad results? This hasn’t happened in ages and it’s high time we remind the board that Arsenal is not a joke and we are not happy with the way things are going.

Nobody over there cares really. What exactly has Ivan done for this club? He promised we will compete. We roll over in big games. We die before the fight begins. I’ve seen Arsenal been beaten before, but at least we put a fight! We at least tried to play some sort of football.

Now the players seem like they don’t wanna play for the manager. Honestly it’s like there are no tactical instructions and during the game there really aren’t any tactical changes as Arsene just sits there. I’m sorry, this cannot go on. It’s a disgrace we leave our best player on the bench for a crucial game to the one thing we always get – the top 4 trophy, but you know what? It’s run dry this time. We aren’t getting it and the only reason we are still in that fight is because other teams struggle too. If it depended on ourselves you just have to look at our record against the top 6. It speaks for itself.

The club is made out of 5 major ingredients for me – the owner, the board, the manager, the players and the fans. Out of those 5 only the fans (and it’s not all of us) who actually care about the results and some of the players too (again some look without any purpose at this football club).

Against Norwich, Arsene was suppose to face the fans wrath. And when the time came to express our disgust with how the club is ran, a lot of people started to sing “One Arsene Wenger”. Managerial changes helped Leicester and Chelsea. Two teams who were champions and then went into abyss, but changing the manager cleared up the negative atmosphere and they improved.

The only important thing on Tuesday is whether there will be a real protest or it will be another farce. Sadly I believe people are afraid of change, because we’ve become so stale it’s interesting whether we can actually get excited about results, because now, I couldn’t care less about the top 4, the contracts of players, or the next humiliations coming up, the only thing I care about is whether Arsene is gone this summer or not!

  1. The best thing that can happen to Arsenal to be in Bottom half at the end of the season.Bt if we win our usual trophy- top 4. everyone will be happy and satisfied. I really pity Ozil, Sanchez and Kolsieny, they are being wasted by Arsenal fc, Let them join Totenham Hotspurs.

    1. If we move out of top six thereby meaning no UEFA or EUROPA league, this will make Wenger, Ivan and the board to think hard and maybe invest in a new coach, even Ranieri cos he is better than wenger.

  2. These guys don’t learn. Most of the season ticket holders are the type of fans that makes the Emirates called the “library” and they worship wenger. The protest will fail miserably just like it did against Norwich.. If the protests were away they would be successful but at home? Forget it

  3. Hate to see fans protest it’s embarrassing
it’s the job of the board to hire and fire,
    players unrest, fans unhappy,
Stan to get out of his comfort zone and take action for a change for the sake of the club
Ronald Koeman Is our man make it happen
Wanger you should of left two years ago when you lost the plot by not buying any players when desparetly needed

  4. If you live in London and you really want to protest, you don’t have to necessarily be inside the stadium to be heard.
I’m sure that a hundred protesters outside of the Emirates would generate more noise than the fans inside the ground. ??
Who knows, the prawn sandwich munchers on the inside might even get intimidated into joining in when they hear the loud chants of Wenger out! Coming from the outside ?

  5. “Meanwhile, Mirror Sport understands Wenger has now agreed terms on a new two-year contract to stay at Arsenal – but has not signed it.”

    1. Does that mean that he didn’t agree with the terms Of the contract extension that was sitting on his desk since the end of last season??

He probably wanted more than the £10 million that was originally offered to him. ???

    2. Good, it is not signed. The only way to make sure this does not happen is for the fans to keep bullying him. Unfortunately, I have been many times at the Emirates. The first 5 rows are full of tourists who don’t give a fsck about football and they are paying exorbitant prices to see a game. The cheapest ticket sets you back 110 pound. I will come to this later. There is absolutely no cheer or jeer in the immediate vicinity of the bench so it is only normal for Wenger not to hear the roar. Fans at the soulless concrete bowl called the emirates are indeed not what we used to have at Highbury. Not like Highbury was a noisy but the difference is huge. Now, to the Arsenal fans who pay an arm and a leg to see a game. As I said went many time sto the Emirates (including a visit which set me back almost 250 quids for teh ticket against Utd when we lost 2-1 against van Gaal team). The so called tickets you get are season tickets belonging to someone. You receive it via Royal Mail in the hotel and with the parcel you get an envelope to post the card back to the owner (address is already written on it). Got mine like 6 times in a row from some Arab or Indian fellas, not sure if it has to do with the Emirates. These guys are in for a killing. A season ticket is exactly 1014 quids. You give away your ticket for at least 100 pounds a game, that is 1900 right there but games against United, Chelsea, the lot are 300 a pop. You almost triple your investment. Kroenke made us all Arsenal fans in businessmen.
When I am saying that Wenger is only part of the problem, this is what I mean. The whole core of the club is rotten beyond belief, much must change and I agree, all big clubs suffer from the same thing once the teevee money got in. They became like churches instead of playing grounds. Yes, it may a step forward to see Wenger out the door, one can only hope. But if we stop in just showing Wenger the door then we will not get anywhere. That much I can assure you. Once this started, it can’t stop here.

  6. Well for those Arsenal fans clamoring for Silent Stan to grow a set and make widespread changes to the club based on performancel keep this in mind.

    Colorado Avalanche…..stink
    LA Rams….stink
    Denver Nuggets….average

Unless Arsenals net worth takes a hit(highly unlikely) the Yank will continue to destroy the club we so dearly love.

  7. Just reported on Talk Sport “Wenger has a two year contract on the table, all agreed it just needs signing”.

I predict Sanchez will get the blame for the teams failiure and it will be the same manager and the same fans buying tickets next year.

Ive been a fan for over 30 years but last year i said i would pay again to enter the emirates until wenger has left. i guess im the only one ?

    1. I’ve been season ticket holder for nearly 40 years, and for the last 3 years at least, I’ve said I won’t renew my tickets. The problem is, it’s very hard to give something up, that has been part of your life for so many years, knowing that if you do, there’s no chance of getting them back if there are major changes and things improve.

The only thing I’ve been doing is not turning up for some of the games, this wasn’t done as a protest, it was done because I really couldn’t be bothered going to watch the same turgid rubbish week after week.

My problem now is do I renew this year, I can’t see any decisions being made regarding Wenger, Sanchez or Ozil before ticket renewal date. If it’s announced Wenger has signed an extension and Sanchez and Ozil are going, it will probably see the end of my season tickets. The club won’t suffer because there a tens of thousands on the waiting list, so I would be £8k + better off, but the club (Kroenke) won’t miss it.

In the grand scheme of things, it’s not a life changing thing, it’s just a shame it’s come to this.

      1. i understand however, nothing will change while Kronkie recieves money thats all he cares about

      2. Listen to me, don’t give away your ticket. I would not part with mine if I ever had one. Managers come and go. Since I am an Arsenal supporter I have seen Eddie Howe, George Graham, Bruce Rioch and Wenger. I am sure I will see another manager. I am sure I will see another owner. Don’t throw away something you care so much just because you are upset. Better sell it to me.

  8. There is a high chance bayern will embarrass us tomorrow. Wenger has totally lost clues this season on tactics and we narrowly escaped a carnage from psg tottenham and united.
If the fans can’t make a statement then tomorrow’s match surely will

  9. Sanchez response, Posted 3 hours ago:

alexis_officia1Un verdadero guerrero no lucha por odio a los que tiene enfrente.
Si no por AMOR a los que tiene detrás ⚪️? let ‘s go Gunners . “el único fracaso es no intentarlo. ” ⚽️ The true warrior fights not because he hates the ones in front of him, but because he loves those behind him. ?⚪️ Let ‘ go Gunners.
” The only failure is not trying.”

    1. Nobody in Our beloved team comes out with statements like this. Make us fans get behind the fella. He got grit and hunger, wish the rest of half our players have the same. we would not be planning demonstrations nor having a go to the Coach. Fight for the Bloody Badge, for US. we can not lose this little fella.

  10. After the ground breaking Chilean march I don’t think our club could withstand another demonstration. The vibrations from the angry man walking are still rumbling through Europe as we speak. This together with that awe inspiring protest from last season will surely see heads fly. We talk about embarrassing and Arsenal in the same sentence, at times, our fans can be key stone cop with the best of them. If they are gonna do it they gotta do it Wright Wright Wright. Last season was embarrassing to say the least. It actually had the opposite effect intended so it was worse than embarrassing, it was embarrassingly inept.

    1. How about the idea of getting A5 size RED CARDS. They could be held up as another shambolic mess unfolds under the tutelage of Arsene the dope. The TV cameras would pick them up. A sign that whatever doesn’t work has to go???

  11. Maybe if the fans could agree on what to protest against then it might actually work.

Some people are too hung up on sacking Wenger that they forget the other issues at the club while others are upset at those other issues while and believe the changes would happen if the board was ambitious enough.

I will support Arsenals next manager while they are in the hot seat.

I just wish that the new manager will never be given such power because our club with such rich history has the right infrastructure in place. That can change NOW.

I do disagree with Wengers wage structure and that is an example where the board should have stepped in and changed, that can change NOW.

We could see Wengers influence reduced NOW.

If only the fans could unite to tell the board they are not happy at the ambition shown.
They are the ones who could sack Wenger and they are the ones who is giving Wenger the power by leaving it to him to decide when to sign etc…

Why moan at Wenger when all he can do is not sign a new contract, will that give the board ambition to win things over making a profit? I doubt it and that is why I will not support the sacking of Wenger for lack of ambition shown, I will not spend money on Arsenal instead and hope enough people also feel the same so they feel the financial loss. I do believe that only then will the board show enough ambition to match that of us fans, glory to sing about and matches to remember in decades time… Not bank balances!

  12. It’s easy for those of you to say “Protest the Games” when you don’t live in London. An Arsenal fan I know said that he won’t watch another game (on TV) until Wenger is gone. And he actually kept his word so far (for over a season), even though he’s been a loyal fan of the club for close to 20 years. Personally, I think it’s foolish, and doesn’t really hurt Arsene and the board one bit, but I would offer the same proposition to you, Konstantin. What’s the point of you watching the games if you don’t get any satisfaction out of it? Every week you approach with the same amount of skepticism, and then come out whining and moaning even when the team wins. Just lock yourself in the closet somewhere, and stop watching and reading anything about Arsenal until Wenger steps down. You’ll save yourself a lot of grief and frustration (and us too, of course).
