WOW! Arsenal star Walcott is faster than ever

THeo Walcott has always been one of the fastest footballers on the planet and since he started to mature at Arsenal and add goals and better decision making to his pace and all round game, he has been a really important player for the Gunners.

And he has become one of the players that our opponents fear more than any others. So Arsenal’s Premier League and Champions League rivals will be wary that the England international has recovered from his cruciate ligament injury and is back in the Arsenal squad.

So there should be some real dismay at the news, reported by the Daily Star, that Theo has used his time on the sidelines to good effect and has built up his strength and that has led to him being even faster over the ground than he was before.

The 25-year old forward said, “”I’ve been clocked faster than I was before when I was fit. So yes, the answer is.

“It was difficult at the start, but I thought it was an opportunity to build on my strength.”

Hopefully we will get to see his new and improved pace in the Premier League clash at Swansea City this Sunday. But don’t blink, Gooners, because you might miss him.

    1. Before the injury, I think he was becoming very good at finishing. Um, guess he’s still got to work on his dribbling and man marking.

    1. Crowley looks great, and I have a feeling he’ll come out better than Wilshere, in my opinion. However, I feel it might just be a tad early to throw him in. For someone of his frame, he might need a bit more time to develop the physical element of the English game. I can’t wait to see him at the top though.

  1. OT: Some Arsenal fans on twitter are giving Ramsey a lot of beef.

I know he hasn’t been in the best form, but give the guy a break. You can see that he’s still trying to give it his all even through all the errors he makes. More importantly he had an incredible season last year, which means he can reach that potential again. So all I ask here is to back him instead of hating him. He’ll come back to us, I’m sure. When though, I dunno.

    1. The problem i have personally with him, well kinda not only with him, is his smugness. Ramsey is still a nobody, and no son you are far from being a Luka Modric. The kid needs to do his job as a middlefielder and stop running forward wanting to score a goal at any cost. Selfish bast$rd.

  2. Let’s put out a team with real power and pace.
Welbeck has been s**t recently! ditto flam/arteta ,mert and monreal .
    Let’s try : 1-4-3-1-2
Scz-gibbs ,chambers, mert, bellerin – Ox Rambo Jack- caz- Sanchez ,wally .
Soon as kos, oz debuch available drop mert, bellerin &caz.
Poldi /Welby on the bench to come on as needed.

And buy a decent f***ing DM in January !!

    1. Welbeck hasn’t been shit, Wenger has robbed him of his best attributes: speed and power, by instructing him to play like Giroud.
Last few games he has been playing back to goal as the ‘hold up’ player just so that Wenger can continue with another failed experiment and ruin another player.

      1. How the f*ck do you know what Wenger has instructed him to do? You can’t even let us enjoy a little ray on the horizon (Theo) in frustrating times – no – you have to sh1t on that too. Just f*ck off.

        1. Yes, amigo. I’m relatively ok. Just that I keep hoping Mr. Gru won’t present our butts to MUFC for spanking due to his “cluelessness”.

          1. We could not beat them when they where at their weakest so dont be surprised if we lose. Keep your head up man.

  3. Why was Makelele one of the best? Becuz he f**king knew his role and played it to perfection. That’s why today we have what’s called “the Makelele role”.

Ramsey needs to stay composed and disciplined, they goals will come when they should, but that’s not his primary responsibility.

    1. @kickassfan
Watching McCarthy hold down midfield Everton tonight. Very impressive. Was also highly impressed with the young Anderlecht DM Tielemans, Just 17…

      1. @Ny-Gunner, I did not watch the game but I do know Everton mean some serious sh*t this season. I pray we get a very good DM and do away with that hairstylist and Flamini.

        1. How about Morgan Schneiderlin? He is like Koscienly, only playing further up front. Beast of a player, and not Cl tied.

          1. @Ks, Morgan Schneiderlin is good. But forgive me if u think otherwise, that dude seems to roam up the pitch to often these days. I’d still very much love to have him though.

  4. Ramsey really need to go back to basics to me to be a best mf you need to put your team first and goals are not that important when you are a mf it not like you are a striker.modric(world class which ramsey is trying to be) is the best example of a b2b player and he doent scored many

    1. @Twig, somehow I kinda have faith in Welbeck. Sincerely, his positional awareness is poor, but he also needs some luck. The lad isn’t bad.

  5. Ramsey is quality but sometimes even the best players lose there way, that’s what a coach and manager is for, he should be told I trust you but play simple for a while give it and then focus on your positioning play one touch and try and get lots of touches

  6. Sign
    Van dijk
    schar
    And either wanyama or Song
Total 30 odd million and vastly improves the squad and would cure 80% of our issues

  7. ………and linked with forientina! This is one thing wenger will do right he will not sell walcott. Tw does look larger and stronger since his lay off, if he’s now quicker great news! Let’s whoever worked with theo during his rehabilitation working with ozil, per and cazorla in that order. Ozil needs more strength, per quicker feet so some core work may help, add cazorla needs to keep off the pies and on the salad 🙂

  8. Lets just win the UCL and the EPL in the same season and put everything behind us.

Over to you Wenger and the board. If you can’t deliver it go and take a long jump off a short pier. I have had enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. @kissassfan. I rhink welbeck will be fine but he certainly flourishes in games where there is space in behind and he can counter, (galatasary game). When it’s congested and the likes of sanchez os floating around and running direct from rhe centre I get rhe impression danny doesnt know where to be and almost gets out the way. He needs to adapt and get used ro quick feet one touch play around the box. I’m sure they’ll be working on this and he’ll come good soon. Looking forward to seeing sanchez, walcott, ozil, giroud and welbeck on the pitch together. Giroud holding it up for the runners 🙂 let’s not forget gnabry I hope he comes baxk strong and quick, I like him and he offers us another option when may start becoming predictable.

    1. @ Ronny, u do have a point but I just think one key factor could also be that Welbeck really hasn’t settled in yet.

Also, though I’d luv Sanchez to play a free role, particularly upfront (something that can only work perfectly well pending on how well our forwards understand one-another), I’d really love Ozil to primarily anchor that no_10 role, he (Ozil) really does know how to spoon feed strikers and he would immensely help Welbeck.

    1. That says it all a thumbs down for that comment, do you support our great club or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    2. Eh, @Andrew, I’d rather have Theo in the middle, the Ox to the right, Sanchez to the left and Ozil behind Theo.

  10. Look Ozil is a certain type of player, he was an asset to Real for the entire time he was there because his managers knew how to get the best out of him.
A good manager would do the same in the PL and NOT set him up on the wing against right backs known for their physical presence.

Players have talents, a good manager utilises those talents for different situations and to get the best from each player, Wenger can’t do that.

  11. how bout this
    Scez
    Bel – Mert – Chambers – Gibbs
    Monreal
    Ramsey
    theo – Carzola – Sanchez
    welbek

If Monreal can play at Cb then he can play DM, cos has better ball distribution skills than Flamiini (with Arteta out)…only prob his pace…but can swop position with chambers…

Or if Crazola is fck up then play Ox in his place…wat a pacy forward liine..ox, theo, sanchez and welbek..
