Wow I think Arsenal may have got a bargain of the century by getting Martinelli for peanuts, as he has now scored his 4th goal in two starts for the Gunners after just 16 minutes of the first half against Standard Liege. He scored his first incedible goal just three minutes earlier, with an excellent header, and if I was Aubameyang I would be looking over my shoulder right now although our top scorer was smiling and seemed to love watching his performance.
Arsenal are now two goals ahead and well on their way to being top of the group, and considering tbat this is a completely different team to the one that faced Man United, it augurs very well for the future. Surely the points are in the bag now?

He has been brilliant more minutes in the epl games.who needs mkhi! Hope Pepe comes on though and scores pity him the youngsters are outshining him!
And Emery does not think Martinelli deserves to start or come off the bench in the league. We struggle against PL teams but do well in the Europa league. Because we have a manager who does not motivate the team. He choses his favourite players in the EPL. Playing Nelson ahead of Martinelli. Playing 3 Defensive midfielders against Man United. No creativity on midfield. By the way, is Mesut Ozil on annual or sick leave?

Exactly. The midfield against Man United was not good enough. We need to impose ourselves on the opposition. If only Emery plays to the strength of his team, we would be serious contenders for the EPL.

Hmmm I thought he was trying hard to score but also involving others. He nearly had a goal several times. There is clearly a great player in that shell he just needs to break loose.
