2 out of 5 rival slips ain’t bad for Arsenal – Can it be 3?

Arsenal still have to make sure that it counts by winning our away game against AFC Bournemouth tonight, but the Gunners were probably not expecting any of the main rivals for the Premier League title to slip up in this latest run of games.

So Arsene Wenger and the players will have been pleasantly surprised yesterday to see the EPL strugglers Sunderland come back from behind twice to hold Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side to a draw at the Stadium of Light. They will stay above Arsenal even if we win but only by a single point and they have a tough month ahead.

Man United did win away at West Ham with a huge bit of help from an incorrect red card from our old friend Mike Dean and then the linesman missed a clear offside for their second killer goal. That puts them just a point behind us and Man City went back above us into third but we can go a point above them with a win.

There was always going to be one of our five rivals dropping points as Chelsea travel to Tottenham tomorrow but the scousers have made it two and a draw at White Hart Lane would make it three. To be fair I would be happy with a win for the spuds but could it be three of the five teams challenging Arsenal to slip up? And will we make sure they pay the price by beating Bournemouth?
