Why under 21 league title could be huge for Arsenal

The Arsenal senior squad may have blown the Premier League title this season, but there is still a league title that could be coming to the club this year and if it does it could have big ramifications in the future for the Gunners. Last night the Arsenal under 21 side pulled off a fantastic result which puts us withing touching distance of winning it.

It was an away game against table topping Derby County and after Ben Sheaf was sent off in the first half for a second yellow and Stephy Mavididi saw his opening goal cancelled out, the young Gunners were really up against it so to hold on was good but to come up with a winner through Kaylen Hinds was fantastic.

Derby would have sealed thew title with a win but Arsenal are now just two oints behind them and we have two games left to play while they have none. So one more win against either Swansea City on Thursday or West Brom on Monday will see us calim the title and win promotion to the top division.

Let´s be honest here Gooners, Arsenal should already be in the top flight of the under 21s but to get there could really help us in the future. The academy players will be playing against better opposition and that should help them to improve as well as making the transition to the senior side easier.

Plus we need all the title winning experience we can get if the Gunners are to ever regain that coveted EPL trophy. So Come On You Young Gunners!
