7 games in next 19 days – Arsenal have a hard slog ahead – Can we stay unbeaten?

We may have an easy game tomorrow night against Qarabag when we will see some of Arsenal’s youngsters on display, but we then begin the gruelling Christmas schedule on Sunday when we travel down to Southampton, where we have a poor record against the Saints. I am sure Emery will have the team fresh and ready, although we do seem to be lacking a few defenders! If we don’t lose it should mean we have gone four full months without losing a game!

The next Wednesday we face our old rivals Tottenham yet again in the Carabao Cup quarter-final. There is sure to be some rotation for that one too, but hopefully our home advantage should stand us in good stead again. Next up, just three days before Christmas, we have another home game against Burnley who have been dire this season compared to last.

Boxing Day takes us down to the South Coast again to take on Brighton, which is a potential banana skin as they have only lost two home games all season, but much more worrying is the fact that we have to travel up to Anfield on the 29th to face highflying Liverpool. But if we play as well against them as we did at the Emirates we may give them a surprise…

Our 7th game in this 19-day span is a home derby against Fulham, who have only won one of their last 11 games and should be easy pickings (Should be!)

So five of those games are League matches and a possible 15 points. How many would you be happy with?
