Agent of Arsenal outcast holding talks with La Liga side over January move

The Arsenal outcast, Mohamed Elneny could be on the move again in the next transfer window.

The Egyptian was deemed surplus to requirements by Unai Emery earlier in the season and he was farmed out on-loan to Turkish outfit, Besiktas.

He has endured a tough start to life in the Turkish SuperLiga and he was even dismissed in his first game and banned for three matches.

While his spell in Turkey hasn’t been the most positive, he has continued to attract the attention of Europe’s big sides.

Team Talk claims that Italian giants AC Milan have reportedly been considering a move for him.

Milan has no European commitments this season and they hope that they can end this season inside the top four and bring back Champions League football to the San Siro.

With the reports of a move to Italy still fresh, Calciomercato, as cited by Team Talk is now reporting that Spanish giants, Sevilla, are also exploring the option of signing Elneny.

The report further claims that the Spaniards have held preliminary talks with his agent about a potential move.

Elneny has been cut out of the first-team picture by Unai Emery and if the Spaniard remains the club’s manager, then he would probably sanction the permanent move of the midfielder in the next transfer window.

If another manager comes into the picture this could easily change, but I personally find that very doubtful. Elneny’s time as an Arsenal player is over with, even if that is not official yet.
