Another wonder goal to see Nelson in Arsenal team against Cologne?

To be perfectly honest I would have liked to see the name of the up and coming young Gunner Reiss Nelson on the team sheet for today’s Premier League match against AFC Bournemouth, or at least see him in the matchday squad just in case the team is in need of inspiration later on.

But having played in the under 23 match away to Manchester United last night there is no chance Nelson will be involved again today. I expect that Arsene Wenger is getting very close to including the talented teenager in the Arsenal first team, though, especially after he carried on his great start to the season at Old Trafford.

Not only did the 17-year old score again, taking his tally so far to six goals from four under 23 games, his strike was a real belter of a free kick that opened the scoring and set the Arsenal academy side on the road to a 2-0 victory over Man United.

Wenger may still be reluctant to throw Nelson in at the deep end and play him in the Premier League, but Arsenal do have a home game against the German side Cologne in the Europa League coming up on Thursday and the manager has already stated his intention to focus on the EPL and play young and fringe players in Europe, so will Nelson be in the Arsenal team for Cologne? He better be.
