Alexis Insists Arsenal Are On The Way To Glory! by AT
The Arsenal sensation Alexis Sanchez has today revealed his great desire to win silverware with the Gunners and has claimed that the North London side have everything it takes to claim trophy after trophy. With Arsenal in a rich vein of form which sees them at second spot in the League and in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, the Chilean’s optimism cannot be questioned.
Speaking to Goal, Alexis was quoted as saying: “I want to win titles for Arsenal. We have the right team and the right players to do it. We have everything to collect silverware. There is a very positive environment. Not only among the players, but I would extend this to the staff. Every club member is always available for us and that’s a great thing for us as players.”
Well, the ‘very positive environment’ that Alexis talks of is evident for everybody to see and the club have certainly benefited from it. With Arsenal no longer having any want-away stars or financial difficulties, there exists a certain cohesion in the side to work together and contribute towards the club’s ultimate goal, which is to consistently win silverware.
I have to say, I completely agree with Alexis on his opinion that Arsenal are now ready to win titles. While I would like to add that we do need maybe a couple more stellar signings like the former Barcelona star, the fact is the team is headed in the right direction and I’m sure Gooners worldwide can feel that we are not far away from success.
Considering the fact that no key player looks set to leave in the summer, another world-class addition or two will surely get the ball rolling for Arsenal in the pursuit of the League title and the elusive Champions League trophy.
