Arsenal CANNOT use injury excuse as West Ham have more!

It is another must win game for Arsenal in the Premier League tomorrow, as with just 10 games left our chances of a top four finish and the usual place in the Champions League really is hanging by a thread. Recent form and the run of results do not bode well for us, but there are some reasons for optimism going into this game against West Ham.

One major one is that, for once, Arsenal have fewer injury problems than our opponents, according to physioroom.com, and as our squad has more strength in depth to start with that should give us an advantage. It certainly means that Arsene Wenger cannot use the absent players as an excuse, even though Koscielny, Cazorla and Cech would usually be the first names on the team sheet.

Slaven Bilic has six players missing on that website but Sky Sports are reporting that Michail Antonio is fit again and he will probably play. They will be without the first choice centre back Winston Reid and left back Aaron Cresswell though, as well as Obiang and Ogbonna in the middle. Arsenal cannot complain about fatigue either as they have just had an international break and are no longer in Europe, so no excuses lads, just go and get the job done.
