Arsenal chasing £55m France international to replace Ramsey?

There is just one month now until the transfer window opens and we are sure to be inundated with hundreds of silly Arsenal transfer rumours from now on, especially with the possibility of Aaron Ramsey being moved on.

So the first ‘top midfield prospects’ to be linked to us is the France international Tanguy Ndombele, with the Metro reporting this morning…..

Arsenal and Liverpool are continuing to monitor Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, according to reports. The 21-year-old has impressed in Ligue 1 this season and was rewarded with his first senior France cap last month. Ndombele is widely regarded as one of the top midfield prospects in France and has attracted plenty of interest from clubs across Europe. According to the Daily Mirror, both Liverpool and Arsenal are keeping tabs on Ndombele’s progress at Lyon.

And the report also claims that Everton are taking a close look at the France international, with Marco Silva viewing the 21-year-old as a ‘perfect fit’ for his midfield at Goodison Park. Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be in the race for Ndombele, who is valued at £55 million,

I must admit I have never heard of this lad before, but anyone that can break into the France team can’t be totally useless! Can anyone shed some light on this possible Arsenal target?
