Arsenal FA cup review – Wenger’s Gunners blow the blues away

Well that was a fantastic way for the often criticised Arsenal to end the season, not only lifting the FA cup trophy and setting a new record as they did, but in the way they totally outclassed the new Premier League champions. We did it Gooners and we did it in some style.

A lot of the questions going into this final were about which Arsenal we would see, and you can hardly blame us, but you could not find anything to say in a negative way about any of the Arsenal boys. Fair play to Arsene Wenger, because his tactics and motivation were spot on today.

Right in Chelsea faces from the whistle was just what we needed and one Arsenal took hold they did not give Chelsea an opening. Even when our 10 man opposition got an equaliser with a lucky deflection I was not worried because the Gunners were on it.

It may have been odd but the opener fronm Alexis Sanchez was nbot only fair but it was top quality. Per Mertesacker was a beast at the back and Wenger playing him when nobody expected it was a real masterstroke. Well done Arsene. Well done Gunners.
