Arsenal face a week of stress while our rivals have easy home fixtures…

Many Arsenal fans think that it is a good idea for the Gunners to get an extra two days rest as they don’t have to play until Thursday, but it is looking very dodgy to me. You would expect that we wouldn’t normally be too worried about having to play Crystal Palace and West Brom, but as both of those games are away from home, where our form has been simply awful, then you have to consider the worst case scenario.

You could even hope that our rivals for the Top Four could slip up as well over this period, but as Man United, Chelsea and Liverpool are all playing two home games before we play our away games then you can see why I am very worried about us dropping away from the race for fourth place.

Tomorrow Spurs play Southampton, Chelsea play Brighton, Man United play Burnley and Liverpool play Swansea, and as they are all home games we can expect all our rivals to get three points before we travel to inform Palace.

Then on the 30th, they are all at home at again. Chelsea face Stoke, Liverpool play Leicester and Man United take on Southampton, while we have to wait another day before travelling to West Brom on New Years Eve.

And then we have to play Chelsea at the Emirates on Jan 3rd…..

Is anyone else as worried as I am???
