Arsenal fans fume after Gnabry to Bayern Munich transfer

So a player that Arsene Wenger deemed not good enough for Arsenal, or surplus to requirements in north London at least, has just completed his transfer and signed a three year contract with one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the football world, Bayern Munich.

The German Bundesliga champions and their chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge are apparently delighted with the signing, reports The Mirror, while the former Gunner, who spent a year or so in the Arsenal academy before breaking onto the scene, is also very happy with his latest move.

Gnabry said, “It is a great honour to be part of FC Bayern. Before me lies an exciting time, which I am very much looking forward to.”

This transfer comes after the 21-year old had a very impressive season with another Bundesliga club Werder Bremen, who he joined for just £5 million after a lack of playing time at Arsenal under Wenger had convinced the promising player to leave us.

This inevitably begs the question of why the Arsenal boss failed to use the German or get the best out of him and Arsenal fans will no doubt be wondering why Arsenal have lost a player deemed good enough for the side that gave us two absolute tonkings in the Champions League last season.
