Arsenal fans should check out this Spanish transfer target

For any Arsenal fans that do not keep up to speed on the goings on in Spain’s La Liga, you may not have heard of the Celta Vigo and Spain international forward Nolito, real name Manuel Agudo Duran. If so I would advise you to have a look at him over the next couple of weeks because the absence of Chelsea’s thuggish striker Diego Costa from the squad should see him start for Spain. And according to a report in The Mirror, Arsenal are weighing up a transfer move for him.

Spain face Luxembourg on Friday and then Ukraine the following Monday and as they have already qualified for Euro 2016 then I would expect Vicente Del Bosque to give his fringe players a chance to impress. The versatile 28-year old attacker is a relative newcomer to the international stage, with just two caps to his name so far, but after two decent seasons in La Liga he has begun this one in superb form, scoring five goals in five games so far.

He was the key man in Celta’s stunning 4-1 win over Barcelona last month and he can play either as a centre forward or on the left. According to reports there is a release clause of around £14 million in his contract and Arsene Wenger is thinking about triggering it in January, presumably if Danny Welbeck is not ready to return from injury or any more Arsenal attacking players are out of action.

See what you think of him Gooners?
