Arsenal get BIG Sissoko transfer boost but can Man Utd ruin it?

Just a few days it was looking like the chances of Arsenal completing the transfer of France’s Euro 2016 star Moussa Sissoko were slipping away after his current club Newcastle United chose to slap an inflated price tag of around £35 million on the fast and exciting attacking player.

But perhaps the unhappy reaction from Sissoko and his agent to the rumours have been taken on board by the club, as The Times is now reporting that they will listen to offers around the much more reasonable £20 million mark.

That should certainly sharpen up the interest of Arsene Wenger who has said some very good things about his fellow countryman in recent weeks. But the news about our potential signing of the Frenchman is not all good because the French sports website Le10sport claims that our Premier League rivals Manchester United are also looking at Sissoko as an alternative to their reported target Paul Pogba.

If Jose Mourinho enters the race and starts throwing money around then the price could soon be back up to what Newcastle want. Even if United do get Pogba the report claims that the Italian champions Juventus might then go for Sissoko and they would have silly money to spend if the reported price of Pogba is right.

So do Arsenal need to move fast and snap up Sissoko while his price is still in our range?
