Arsenal injury curse hits two international stars – What a shock!

There are plenty of international games still to be played and this Arsenal fan will not be able to relax until the last ball has been kicked by our international players, most likely by Alexis Sanchez or David Ospina whose nations both play World Cup qualifiers in the early hours of Wednesday morning in South America.

Well Arsenal fans will be hoping that our Colombian keeper is alright to play in that game but it is by no means certain. Not only did Ospina pick up a knock in the win over Colombia this week, a Metro report shows that it was an aggravation of the problem that he had in our last Premier League game at Everton.

The keeper does seem to be a tough cookie though, and just like against Everton he shook it off to finish the match but he may well struggle to start their next game.

The other Arsenal player to suffer an injury is our England forward Theo Walcott. In another Metro report the national boss Roy Hodgson explained that the Arsenal striker has a dead leg from training and that will almost certainly rule him out of England’s clash with Germany today, a match where his pace on the counter attack was probably his best chance of an appearance.
