Arsenal win at Everton the start of ‘perfect’ EPL title chase?

Well that is one Arsenal win down and eight to go for the Gunners if we are to somehow rescue this season from disaster and with the Gunners now out of the champions League and the FA cup, the only thing that will do is for us to chase down Leicester City and Tottenham and for Arsenal to win the Premier League title.

Arsene Wenger spoke about the need for Arsenal to be pretty much perfect until the final game of the season at home to a doomed Aston Villa on May 15th. That perfect run of results would see Arsenal finish the campaign on 79 points and obviously improve on our current goal difference significantly and I have a feeling that this could well be enough to see us crowned champions.

Leicester began the day on 63 points and after another narrow win they need another 14 from their remaining seven games to make sure we could not catch them. They have been just about managing to win recently but it has been far from comprehensive and as the pressure increases from week to week I can see them dropping points.

And the same can be said of the spuds who are now just three points ahead of us with the same games played. There is definitely a growing buzz around the Arsenal team at the moment and with Iwobi and Welbeck having really freshened things up and with Coquelin and Elneny looking very solid and dominant in the middle, we could well go on a serious run.

So do you think this Arsenal win at Everton will turn out to be the perfect start to what needs to be a perfect title chase?
