Can Arsenal hold on until fantastic injury news kicks in?

It looks like the very unlucky Arsenal and Czech Republic midfield star Tomas Rosicky could soon be on his own in the Arsenal treatment room, as the latest injury update from Arsene Wenger on the Arsenal website has revealed that out two other talented midfielders on the injury list have stepped up their recovery plans and are due back in action in a matter of weeks.

So the Spanish international star Santi Cazorla and the England international Jack Wilshere are now on the last leg of the comeback trail, although it will still take a few weeks for the pair to build up their fitness and be ready to feature in the first team once more.

Before that happens, though, Arsenal fans will be able to welcome back Jack’s international team mate Danny Welbeck, with the Arsenal boss suggesting that the England striker could be in line to make his first appearance of the season when the Gunners take in Hull City in the 5th round of the FA cup next weekend.

The Frenchman said, “It is a similar squad available to last week, we are still early in the week but we should have everyone available. Of course Rosicky [is out], and Wilshere is not ready. But everyone else should be available

“[Welbeck] is doing well, it is a bit early for him maybe but he is now back to full power in training. It is a big possibility [he could be involved against Hull next week]. We gave him one or two days recovery after the under-21 game, but now he is back in full training. He has worked very hard and he is fit.

“[Wilshere and Cazorla] are back running, they are on a fitness programme now so it means it is not a question of months anymore, it is a question of weeks for them to be back.”

The problem now is that if Arsenal do not perform well and get the right results over the next few weeks, the return of these three Gunners could be just a bit too late to help us push for the Premier League title win. So can the squad of fit Arsenal players keep us in the race until their team mates finally return from injury?
