Arsenal must push on from avoiding FA cup upset

We Arsenal fans can breathe a little easier now that the Gunners have safely avoided an FA cup shock away to no-league Sutton United, which would surely have sparked all sorts of protests and fury from the fanbase, and lots more pressure on Arsene Wenger and his players.

This FA cup win, although it was a professional and committed performance from us, will not make us forget that the team has failed once again to challenge for the Premier League title or get any further in the Champions League. But there is still a lot of football to be played and a couple of big goals for the Gunners to go for.

Now the boss and players have almost two weeks before the next game and they need to use it wisely because our next match is away to Liverpool in the Premier League and that could be huge in the fight for a top four finish, which is still very important.

We can reasonably expect to get through the next round of the FA cup at home to Lincoln City and that puts us pretty close to a trophy which would make this season a much happier one at the end. Arsenal often finish strongly and it is vital that we now push on from this cup win.

How do you see the next few months going for the Gunners?
