Arsenal, PLEASE sign this humble future star

Arsenal target Kylina Mbappe has become one of the hottest properties in world football this season and his most recent comments assure me that he will be at the top of the game for years to come.

The 18 year-old has fired 19 goals in all competitions so far this season, including a whopping 11 in his last nine outings for Monaco, helping his side to top the French Ligue 1 table ahead of Paris Saint-Germain, as well as scoring in both legs against Manchester City to see his team through to the last eight of the Champions League.

Despite his rise to prominence, Mbappe remains with his feet tightly on the ground whilst admitting he is in a rich vein of form.

“I would not say that what I do is extraordinary,” Mbappe said. “I would just say that I am able to do what I know best. I would not say it’s extraordinary.

“Extraordinary is a player who can score 60 goals. There are not a lot. Otherwise I think we would overuse the term. I would not say it’s amazing but I’m on a good run.”

This sort of attitude is refreshing to see in the current climate, where the likes of Pogba are dancing around and appearing in music videos, this youngster is solely interested in playing football and bettering himself.

Mbappe also insists that he is not interested in the speculation surrounding his signature and reiterates his desire to work hard and continuing as he has been doing this term.

He added: “Sorry, but I do not look at what the English press say. I remain very calm about the attention I get.

“I get up in the morning and I go to practice like everyone else. I try to work to improve myself every day and I try to do on the pitch what I do during the training sessions.”

There is nothing I do not like about this guy’s attitude and playing style, and the links with Thierry Henry cannot be ignored either.

If Arsenal are willing to finally heed the warning that this season has given us, and are willing to open their cash wallet, do it for this guy!

Is there any other realistic targets worthy of replacing Alexis Sanchez in our squad?
