Arsenal squad size key to overcoming a tough November

Squad size will be key, tough month coming up by Konstantin

Hello fellow gooners! I will skip the Sunderland review, because other people already took care of it and I’ll jump to the excitement that I’ll see the Arsenal play live on Tuesday.

And this game is unlikely to be another 6:0. Ludogorets have lively players going forward, but if we get them on the break, their defence is leaky and we need the points. If we win this one, it goes down to the PSG game to see if we can top the group so I hope we take it.

What I like about the squad we have this season is the size of it. With Cazorla, Ramsey and Xhaka out, we still had Elneny and Coquelen in midfield, not the likes of Denilson and Song. We lost Walcott and the Ox delivered. Giroud came on and scored 2 with 2 touches. We’ve not had this in a long time…

Injuries can change a season. Kompany got injured last year and City’s start of 5 straight wins evaporated. This season they lost de Bruyne and Nolito and boom 5 games without a win. They come back and a 4:0 away win.

Can we manage the squad, so that we always have those impact subs? November is a really tough month. Spurs and United, Bournemouth are a decent side and Ludogorets won’t be a walk in the park in Bulgaria, but we come in a good position.

There are quite a few top teams to overcome this year. Liverpool made a spectacular change in their game style and look the real deal, Conte went 3 at the back and Chelsea haven’t conceded in the league since. Spurs are yet unbeaten, City need no comment and United despite being terrible, still have an amazing record against us and Mourinho always has Arsene’s number.

It’s a challenging month ahead, but let’s take it one game at a time and see where we get.
