Arsenal STUNNED by LAUGHABLE price of transfer target!!

I think we can safely say that Arsene Wenger will not be pursuing this one of the multitude of Arsenal transfer rumours flooding the football media at the moment. Not unless the Frenchman’s new found willingness to change his team tactics represents a seismic shift in his personality that is.

We all know that the prof is as careful with the money he spends on the Arsenal squad as he would be if it was coming out of his own pocket. So while he may have proved that he is not scared to spend big money transfer fees on the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, the suggestion in a Metro report that it would cost around £30 million to get the young Hull City defender Andrew Robertson to the Emirates is laughable.

The Hull boss said, “Luke Shaw went from Southampton to Manchester United after just one season in the top flight for £30m, and I rate Andy on a par with him as a young player with bags of ability and potential.

“We have already had calls from clubs asking to be kept informed about his situation, and it might become inevitable that he goes.”

The defender may have had a pretty good season for the Tigers but if his value has rocketed so much from the £2.85 million that Steve Bruce paid Dundee United for him last summer, I must have missed something. The only way that we are all going to be spared from this and more crazy transfer stories is for Wenger to act quickly and sign the players that Arsenal need as soon as possible.

How likely is that Gooners?
