Arsenal sweat as England to risk Gunners on plastic pitch

THe international break has so far been quite good to Arsenal, with the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott, Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud all scoring, Mesut Ozil shining for Germany and nothing bad happening to any of the Gunners as yet.

The injury news has been good so far, not only with the Arsenal players getting through the games without picking up any knocks, but with out Premier League rivals Man City and United losing key players and with our next Champions League opponents Bayern Munich losing Mario Gotze to injury.

But the break is not over yet and Arsene Wenger has a worrying 90 minutes ahead of him tonight, as The Mirror is reporting that Roy Hodgson is set to start two Arsenal stars for England tonight. The problem is that the three lions are away to Lithuania and the game is going to be played on an artificial pitch that makes an injury more likely to occur.

With England already having won the group, Hodgson is planning to not risk some of his key players and so our left back Kieran Gibbs and our midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are due to come in. THe good news is that Theo Walcott is not going to be risked, but an injury to either of the other two Gunners could be bad news for us and our hopes of the Premier League title.
