Arsenal table £30 Million offer for classy Spanish international

Arsenal’s search for a winger is far and wide with numerous names in the frame from Ryan Fraser to Yannick Carrasco to Wilfried Zaha and you can now add the name of Lucas Vazquez.

The Real Madrid winger has become a target for the Gunners and according to reports in Spain they have actually tabled an offer of €32m (£28.6m) up front, with another €3m (£2.69m) in add-ons.

Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing the 28-year-old but if the reports are accurate it is Arsenal that has stolen a march on their rivals for the player signature.

Real are apparently open to the Spanish international leaving the Bernabeu and according to the same reports talks are underway between Arsenal and Vazquez over personal terms.

The player himself is determined to find a club that will offer him regular first-team football as he bids to make the Spain Euro 2020 squad and that is why Arsenal is seen as an attractive option for the forward.

Vazquez is no longer guaranteed regular football at Real and a parting of ways this summer is an almost certainty.

A deal could be concluded fairly quickly because Los Blancos depart for their pre-season tour to America next week and they are said to be keen to tie up a deal before their departure.

According to the same report, Vazquez is a priority signing for Unai Emery and it seems all that needs to be done now is to agree to terms with the player himself.

This one has come out of the blue really, certainly in terms of urgency and is definitely worth keeping an eye on over the next few days.
