Arsenal target the WRONG player from EPL rival?

If you saw the recent comments from the Arsenal right back Hector Bellerin then you will know that the Spaniard is right on track with the recent thoughts of Arsene Wenger when it comes to the need for some more signings in the January transfer window.

If you asked the average Arsenal fan, however, then you would soon realise that Bellerin and his boss are on their own. In fact even Wenger has been sounding like he is ready to spend some money to cope with the lengthy Arsenal injury list.

So assuming that Wenger will use the transfer window, the next question is which position or positions are most in need of cover and competition and which are the players we want to bring in. Your first thought will probably not be an attacking midfielder, but that is what the latest Arsenal transfer rumour on Metro says the boss is looking at.

Before Jamie Vardy went on his goal spree it was another Leicester City player Riyad Mahrez that was getting all the plaudits and his figures of six assists and seven goals in the league shows that he has been a real star for the Foxes and why Wenger is said to be looking to sign him.

But would it not make more sense for Arsenal to be looking at Vardy?
