Arsenal team news – Flamini and Gabriel to start?

The latest injury news from Arsene Wenger is that the only player that he has available once more from the injury list is the Spanish right back Hector Bellerin, which is a handy boost as the Gunners head to the west midlands to take on Tony Pulis’ West Bromwich Albion.

But that news was mitigated to some extent as the boss revealed that he was unsure about the state of mind of our France international centre back Laurent Koscielny, who was clearly upset in the build up to the friendly between England and France at Wembley on Tuesday.

Wenger said he would speak to Koscielny after saying that he did not recognise the player from his performance this week and I am assuming that the prof will give his fellow countryman some time to recover from the trauma of the terrible events in Paris.

The good news for Arsenal is that our back up centre back Gabriel did travel with the Brazil squad but did not feature in either of their games and so will be nice and fresh and no doubt gagging to play.

The bigger problem for the Gunners is at the other end of the pitch, with no Ramsey, Walcott or the Ox back to bolster our creaking front line. We really need to give Alexis Sanchez a rest and so the best option for me would be to have Cazorla on one side of Giroud with Campbell on the other, leaving a position in central midfield.

Although Arteta is the more creative of our two options, Wenger is expecting a typically physical and committed game from a Tony Pulis team and so I think that Flamini is the man. What do you reckon Gooners?
