Arsenal transfer rumour round-up – Meyer, Zivkovic, Allegri, Wilshere, Bellerin

The international break means a ramp up in the gossip mill, and there is plenty of talk about Arsenal’s summer speculation.

We are linked with a move to try and sign Massimiliano Allegri from Juventus this summer, with Arsene Wenger continually being linked with the exit door. His current side are unconcerned about the interest however, and they seem to insist that their club is too important to be snubbed in favour of ours. Wenger of course has another year on his contract, but reports linking him with an exit will continue for as long as he stays in the role.

The Italian’s also appear to have played down links between themselves and Jack Wilshere’s signature, naming Emre Can as their preferred capture.

Hector Bellerin is also believed to be on Juve’s wishlist, but Manchester United are claimed to have made an enquiry about his availability. The Italian’s remain favourites despite the Red Devils interest.

We could also be set to battle it out with United over the capture of Andrija Zivkovic who is currently starring for Benfica. We have been following him since his time with Partizan Belgrade, and seem ready to make the jump to bring him to the Emirates this summer.

We are also said to be eyeing a move to sign Max Meyer from Schalke, with the 22 year-old out of contract at the end of the season. The deep-lying midfielder has a whole host of potential and ability, but would have Aaron Ramsey and Wilshere to vie with for action. Liverpool are also linked and we could well overlook him if we tie both the above to new contracts.

Can you see any truth in these rumours? Is Meyer an exciting target or a confusing one? Would Allegri be tempted to quit Juve for us?
