Arsenal transfer rumour round-up – Pato, Nolito, Rugani, Nwakali

As much as I am trying to ignore my wife’s talk about Christmas being on the horizon, that time of year is slowly creeping up on us, so I thought I’d bring a run-down of the speculation surrounding our beloved club.

Alexandre Pato was once highly rated on the continent, while impressing as a youngster with AC Milan, but suffered a series of injuries between 2011-13, and ended up returning to Brazil. The 26 year-old is now looking to return to Europe having returned to form over the past 18 months, and we are claimed to be ready to battle our rivals for his signature. I was a fan of his back in his Serie A days, but I’m struggling to find any substance in reports linking him with the Emirates.

Nolito has been linked with our club rather heavily over the past couple of months, having enjoyed a rich vein of form for Celta Vigo in La Liga. The former Barcelona B forward has stalled on talks over a new deal with his current club, and is available for €18 Million due to a clause in his current deal. The player has claimed no club’s have been in contact over a move just yet however, but we will wait and see how the situation unfolds.

17 year-old Kelechi Nwakali, who is wanted by Chelsea, has revealed he would love to play for Arsenal, because we play the best football.

Juventus defender Daniele Rugani is also claimed to favour a move to North-London, despite interest from Manchester United.

The two wonderkids could be great additions if we can complete their signatures in the coming window, with the latter having been called up to the senior Italy squad previously, and would likely fit straight into our first-team squad.
