Arsenal under MORE pressure after EPL rivals falter

Arsenal can go second in the Premier League table, which would be good for the Gunners of course, because yesterday was one of those strange days when nothing went as planned or as the form guide would lead us to believe, with every single one of our main rivals for the title dropping points, or those who played anyway.

The biggest upset was Liverpool losing to the bottom club Swansea at Anfield, which also made our own heavy wimn at the Liberty Stadium last weekend look a lot better, but Man United needed a bit of Fergie time and a 94th minute Rooney free kick just to get a point at Stoke and I have to say Man City were unlucky only to get a point off Tottenham. Not only did they outplay the spuds throughout but they were denied a clear penalty and a red card for Walker less than a minute before they equalised.

What it all means is that Arsenal will go above them all if we beat Burnley but at the same time the pressure is now on Arsene Wenger and the players not to let Chelsea get a free ride this weekend. They will already be rubbing their hands after the weekend´s results so far and if we fail to beat Burnley then the pressure on their own game against Hull City will be exactly zero.

Can Arsenal exert just a little pressure on the leaders?
