Arsenal v West Brom preview, line-up and score prediction

West Bromwich Albion make the trip down to North London to take on Arsenal tonight in Premier League matchweek six.

The visitors have lost the last six of their previous trips to the Emirates Stadium, with their last win coming in 2010, and also come into the match without a win in their last three in the league.

Arsenal have plenty to be happy about coming into this game, having seemingly turned a corner after a rocky start to the campaign, and will be keen to continue their dominance over the Baggies at home.

Our side will have to try and gain all three points without Danny Welbeck, who picked up a groin injury last week, while Francis Coquelin, Santi Cazorla and Calum Chambers are also ruled out. We should be able to welcome Mesut Ozil back into contention for the match however, but it remains to be seen whether he is ready to play the full 90 minutes.

Predicted XI:

Cech
Mustafi  Koscielny  Monreal
Bellerin   Xhaka   Ramsey   Kolasinac
Walcott/Ozil      Alexis
Lacazette

A win tonight will see us force our way back into seventh position and keep us within six points of the leaders, and I can’t see us failing to do just that. We are not into full swing as of yet, but we are definitely playing with enough confidence to see us through comfortably today.

I expect Alexis to come into the side with a point to prove, and have a feeling he will open the scoring, setting us well on our way to a comfortable win. I’m going with a 3-0 victory, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see us get one or two more.

Should I be more worried of the threat posed by Tony Pulis’ side? Is this the best selection to take on the visitors?
