Arsenal’s EPL top 4 nearly safe with Man Utd and Spurs injury woe?

Arsene Wenger has once again had to cope with more injury problems to his players than any of Arsenal’s Premier League rivals. Many more in fact, so although it does not feel very sporting to be happy to hear about any player getting injured, even if they play for your most hated rival, I am certainly not sorry to hear about the huge injury blows that both Tottenham and Manchester United are now faced with.

Mourinho’s Red Devils were already facing a big problem after their top scorer and main man Zlatan Ibrahimovic picked up a three game ban which will see him miss the trip to Middlesborough and the following game against West Brom at Old Trafford.

And their striker crisis has deepened massively with Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney picking up knocks. Even Marcus Rashford was said to be out of the FA cup clash with Chelsea through illness but since that there have been reports that he might play.

Even with Rashford though, United have a big problem up front which will hopefully see them drop points and help Arsenal’s hunt for a top four finish. We could also be on for another St. Totteringham’s day after the spuds lost their own top scorer and talisman Harry Kane to an ankle injury that Sky Sports are saying could end his season.

Of course this all means nothing if they fo not drop points or if Arsenal fail to capitalise. Over to you Gunners…
