Arsenal’s GREEN LIGHT to beat Man Utd to Bayern star’s transfer

If Arsene Wenger was looking for some encouragement about his transfer plans for Arsenal as we draw ever close to the opening of the winter transfer window which is not just over a month away, the the latest Arsenal transfer rumour reported by Metro should be just whgat the doctor ordered. of Alaba but for most of the week

Whether or not the player in question, the Bayern Munich and Austrian international star David Alaba, is ready to leave his current club just yet is another matter, although the report does suggest that the versatile 24-year old is prepared to leave the German champions as they continue to struggle since Carlo Ancelotti took over as manager from Pep Guardiola in the summer.

Guardiola’s new club Man City are one of those being linked with the possible transfer of Alaba but for most of the week the football press have been talking about another of our Premier League rivals Man United are the most likely to sign him, until this latest twist to the transfer tale emerged.

Apparently the Austrian, who can operate as a defensive midfielder as well as in his more usual left back role, would actually prefer to join Arsenal. One reason for this is his preference to relocate to London but perhaps the most important is the news that he grew up supporting the Gunners.

So with this to encourage him do you think Wenger will bid for this toplclass player in January?
