Arsenal’s transfer window is far from over (well I hope so)

The window may have shut and Arsenal cannot buy any more players until January at least, not that we expected anything on deadline anyway to be truthful, but with the European window being open a lot longer we will still be clearing out the deadwood, but the difference is that we cannot sell them to English teams.

I am talking about players like David Ospina, who surely won’t be happy to remain as third-choice keeper, but is finding it very difficult to find a club willing to match his wages from Arsenal. Besiktas are very keen, but it would only be a loan if the Turks have to match his wages. It seems the Colombian is still waiting for a better offer….

And what about Joel Campbell, who hasn’t kicked a ball for Arsenal in over two years and is entering the final year of his contract. He hasn’t even been allocated a shirt number so he definitely won’t play for us. Arsenal are refusing a loan and to let him go for free next season, but who is going to buy the Costa Rican? Lazio apparently asked for a loan but will they come back with a firm deal before the end of the month?

As for Carl Jenkinson, there have not been any rumours about offers, never mind actual offers! I can see no other outcome except him training with the youths so he can continue claiming his very nice wage packet until his contract ends.

Could this also be the outcome for Campbell and Ospina as well?
