Jack Wilshere is expected to start for England in Sunday’s friendly match with Turkey, alongside Tottenham’s Dele Alli.

Danny Welbeck would no doubt have been a huge attacking threat for his country also, had he not suffered a horrendous knee injury a couple weeks ago. Welbs is now ruled out until February of next year.
Theo Walcott is another Gunner who missed out on a place in the provisional squad, and rightly so, having been hugely disappointing in 2016, and unable to persuade Arsene Wenger to start him for his club side.
