Bring it on – Arsenal ALWAYS win at Wembley! Ten in a row?

Arsenal may have to face Man City at Wembley in the League Cup Final next month, but should we really be worried? City may have only lost one domestic game this season, but before the recent defeat to Liverpool, the last game they lost was against Arsenal in the FA Cup semifinal in the last campaign.

Arsenal have actually come out as the victors in our last 9 visits to the hallowed turf, and these were the final results..
.
April 12, 2014: Wigan 1-1 Arsenal (Arsenal won 4-2 on penalties); FA Cup semifinal
May 17, 2014: Arsenal 3-2 Hull 2; FA Cup final
Aug. 10, 2014: Arsenal 3-0 Manchester City; Community Shield
April 18, 2015: Reading 1-2 Arsenal; FA Cup semifinal
May 30, 2015: Arsenal 4-0 Aston Villa; FA Cup final
Aug. 2, 2015: Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea; Community Shield
April 23, 2017: Arsenal 2-1 Manchester City; FA Cup semifinal
May 27, 2017: Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea 1; FA Cup final.
Aug. 6, 2017: Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea (Arsenal won 4-1 on penalties); Community Shield

So why should we worry? We beat City and Chelsea last year on the way to winning our record 7th FA Cup under Wenger, and having beaten Chelsea again, why can’t we beat City again?

Nacho Monreal didn’t play in the first four of those matches, but he has never tasted defeat at Wembley, as he said: “It’s really nice for us because we have good memories, we have played six times at Wembley and we’ve always won a trophy playing there, so we come back to playing there. It is the opportunity to play in a final and we have to be focused in the next game and we will be ready for the final.”

We always are! No worries Nacho, we have another trophy coming our way!
