Can Alexis make it 7 in a row for Arsenal v Man United?

Alexis Sanchez was the last Arsenal player in action during this current international break. And although the former Barcelona forward could not inspire his Chile international team mates to a victory over Uruguay in Santiago, he did score another goal.

That makes it six games in a row for club and country that Alexis has found the back of the net. With his doubles against Sunderland and Burnley, the 25-year old has bagged eight goals in those six games and for a player that does not even play as the main central striker, it just shows you how good Alexis is and the fantastic form he has found since swapping La Liga for the English Premier League.

The Chilean will certainly be our go to man when Man United come to town on Saturday, so could Alexis make it a super seven games in a row? I would not bet against him, especially with our visitors having the sort of injury crisis that we normally associate with the Gunners.

Arsenal do have our own injury problems of course, mainly on the defensive side of things so the chances of this being a 0-0 draw are very slim. And the fact that United have lost their defensive midfielder Daley Blind should mean that Alexis gets even more freedom to get at the United back line and that will hopefully spell goals.

Alexis needs just two goals to reach double figures in the Premier League and it would be from just 10 starts. And that would be the best start to an Arsenal career that any player, including the likes of Henry, Bergkamp and Wright, had ever enjoyed.
