Can Arsenal fans chuckle at Chelsea injury blow?

It is not nice to be happy about any footballer getting injured and Arsenal can rightly claim to be among the most sporting clubs in the Premier League. We might give the spuds and others plenty of grief but we also tend to have a bit more class. As a side note I want to congratulate the Gunners on the decision to donate some of this weekend´s match day proceeds to the Syrian refugee crisis, nice one.

So I am not revelling in the injury to Thibaut Courtois, but I cannot be upset about the effect this is likely to have on Chelsea and especially Jose Mourinho. The injury is not a serious one for the Belgian keeper according to an Evening Standard report, a torn Meniscus (the cartilage of his knee) which is likely to keep him out of action for about 10 weeks.

But for Mourinho, who has already been like a simmering kettle since the start of the season, this will be infuriating and could further stretch the uneasy relationship between him and Roman Abramovich as the Russian went against Mourinho´s advice in selling Petr Cech to Arsenal. And this latest setback is not going to help Mourinho´s simmering tension with the Chelsea players and staff either.

I´m sure that the Arsenal fans can think of a few chants to aim at the Chelsea boss when we meet at Stamford Bridge next week can´t we? Something along the lines of `Eva would have fixed him´ perhaps? `Where´s your keepers gone?´ or a simple `thanks for the Cech Jose´.

Courtois will also be a big loss for our EPL rivals and that can only be good for Arsenal, but can we take advantage and are we allowed to chuckle at their misfortune as I´m sure they have done to us many times?
